Hands-On Ramp Building: Mastering the Easy Assembly of PVI Modular Aluminum Ramps

Description

This live demonstration shows how incredibly easy it is to assemble an aluminum ramp from PVI. In this session, we will walk you through the entire process, highlighting the simplicity and efficiency that makes these ramps accessible to everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned builder or have never tackled a project like this before, you’ll see that anyone can assemble a modular ramp quickly and confidently.

To make this demonstration even more interactive, we’ll be inviting volunteers from the audience to join in. This hands-on experience will give you the chance to see just how intuitive the assembly process is, proving that you don’t need any prior construction experience to create a dependable and sturdy ramp.

In addition to the demonstration, we’ll also provide important details on planning a project, including costs, resources needed and special considerations. Our goal is to ensure you leave here not only with the knowledge but also with the resources to confidently undertake a ramp installation when the time comes.

I hopped on board with Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area as a Programs Manager in 2021. It has been the perfect gig to blend my counseling chops with my construction and disaster experience—because, let us face it, life can sometimes be a bit of a construction zone! Most of the folks we work with have issues navigating one or more disabilities that make everyday life a challenge. So, in true contractor fashion, I leveled up with Certified Aging in Place Specialist training. Now, I get to use my skills to design and implement clever adaptations that help people live more comfortably, whether they are dealing with a disability or just embracing the wisdom of their years.
