Description
Humanity Land is an original interactive game where participants play in groups of four to eight to explore decisions related to an affordable housing development. With the pressure affiliates across the country are facing with the cost of building, the game guides participants in exploring the trade-offs between different development/financing strategies and the impact the decisions make on their finances and the potential households they will serve. During the game, groups will make decisions on their mission priorities, where to build, what type of housing to develop, financial approaches, area median income of the households they will serve and more! The feedback we’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive and has indicated that the game has created the right space for affiliate leaders, staff and board members to have an important conversation about the challenges they face in their work.
