VISTA Project Goal

You’ll help expand Habitat La Crosse’s ReNew the Block neighborhood revitalization initiative, increasing their capacity to complete more home repairs in their 4-county service area.

Project Objectives

  1. Researching and applying for funding opportunities.

  2. Create and implement a marketing and outreach plan to promote ReNew.

  3. Research similar programs and work with the Sustainability Department to develop a plan for program expansion. Develop a “tool kit” for communities to use on future projects. Create Community Impact Report templates for a variety of audiences.

Located along the beautiful Mississippi River, HFH La Crosse serves La Crosse, Vernon, and Trempealeau counties in western Wisconsin, and Houston County in Minnesota. They are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes for families in need.
